Pressed from the seeds of Karanj tree (Pongamia glabra), the oil is rich in several bitter flavonoids that stimulate plant immune function. It acts against number of insects and pests. It also acts as acaricide (repels mites or ticks). Numerous studies have shown that it prevents pests from feeding and laying eggs. It works synergistically with neem oil.

- It controls mites, aphids, leaf miner larvae and soil based insects.
- It has fungicidal properties.
- Safe to bees, safe to handle.
- Used topically on livestock, pets as parasiticide and for general skin care.
- It has nitrification inhibitory properties.
- It contains natural emulsifier, surfactant, which enhances overall spread of the product over crop foliage.
Method of application:-
Dilution rate – 3 to 5 ml per lit of water, for power spray, double the quantity.
Foliar spray: Spray on all parts of plants including underside of the leaves until completely wet.
As a preventative, KARANJIT should be applied on a 7 to 14 day schedule until the potential for disease development is no longer present. To control disease already present, apply KARANJIT on a 7 day schedule until disease pressure is eliminated. Then continue spraying on a 14 day schedule to prevent disease from reoccurring.
Soil application: Apply at the root zone, by drenching or through drip irrigation, as above.
Shake the bottle before use. Apply in the early morning or evening.
Storage: Store KARANJIT in a cool and dry place, away from food stuff, children and sunlight
Do not apply to wilted or stressed plants or newly transplanted plants prior to root development.
